  1. Height and Weight
    • Flying Branch:
      • Minimum Height: 162.5 cm.
      • Sitting Height: 81.5 cm (minimum) to 96.0 cm (maximum).
      • Leg Length: 99.0 cm (minimum) to 120.0 cm (maximum).
      • Thigh Length: Maximum of 64.0 cm.
    • Ground Duty Branches:
      • Minimum Height: 157.5 cm.
      • Relaxations: For candidates from certain regions (e.g., Gorkhas, North-Eastern regions, Uttarakhand), the minimum acceptable height is reduced by 5 cm. For candidates from Lakshadweep, a reduction of 2 cm is applicable.
    • Weight: Should be proportionate to height and age. Detailed height and weight standards are provided in the official guidelines
  2. Chest Measurements
    • The chest should be well-proportioned and well-developed.​
    • Minimum Chest Circumference:
      • 77 cm.
    • Chest Expansion:
      • At least 5 cm.
  3. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
    • PFT-I:
      • 1.6 km Run:
        • To be completed within 7 minutes.
    • PFT-II:
      • 10 Push-ups:
        • To be completed within 1 minute.
      • 10 Sit-ups:
        • To be completed within 1 minute.
      • 20 Squats:
        • To be completed within 1 minute.
    • Candidates are advised to bring sports shoes and appropriate attire for these tests.
